Dr. Nai Yin

Dr. Nai Yin was born in Dalian, China but grew up in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. With English being his second language, he didn’t learn the word “veterinarian” until his family cat became sick when he was 11 years old. It was then that he knew he wanted to be one.

Dr. Yin’s family relocated to Las Vegas in 2012 and he has called this city his home since.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Colorado State University and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences, where he adopted a tiny tabby cat named Silver from the school’s clinic. Dr. Yin joined the South Buffalo Springs Animal Hospital team after graduation.

When not in the office, he helps care for his family’s household pets, including two cats and three German Shepherds, and enjoys traveling, photography and tinkering with electronics.
