Dr. Andrea Barnes

Dr. Andrea Barnes was born in Mesa, Arizona, but grew up in central Arkansas. After she received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas, she moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to attend Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Barnes has dreamed of being a Veterinarian since she learned about the profession in 2nd grade. She has always grown up with pets in the house and always seeks companionship in any animal she encounters.

In her free time, Dr. Barnes likes to hang out with her own pets- Daisy (husky mix), Nicholas (domestic medium hair cat), Tito (ragdoll cat), and Chili (chinchilla). She also likes to read, golf, and play pickleball on her days off.
