What we build to, what we know about, and how to tell us when something is in your way.
Our commitment
We want every person who needs a veterinarian to be able to use this site, whatever they are using to read it. That includes screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, and reduced-motion settings.
The standard we build to
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means text contrast is checked against its background, every page has one main heading and proper landmarks, every image carries a text alternative, everything that can be clicked can be reached and operated by keyboard with a visible focus ring, and nothing depends on animation to be readable.
Reader controls
The button in the bottom corner of every page opens a small panel with five controls: larger text, high contrast, underlined links, readable spacing, and pause motion. Your choices are remembered in your own browser. If your device is already set to reduce motion, this site honors that without you doing anything.
Known limits
The map on the contact page is served by Google Maps and is outside our control. If it is a barrier for you, call us and we will give you directions over the phone instead.
