Privacy policy
How we handle information submitted through this website.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to this website only. It does not cover the medical records we keep about your pet as a veterinary practice, which are governed by our clinical record-keeping obligations, or information you give a member of our team in person or over the phone.
Information we collect
If you fill in the contact form on this site, we receive what you type into it: your name, your phone number, your pet's name if you give it, and your message. We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this site.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is served, such as the requested address, the time, the browser type and a truncated network address.
How we use your information
We use what you send through the contact form to answer you, to book or change an appointment, and to keep a record of that correspondence. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If analytics are added later, this section will say which service and what it records, and this page will be updated before that service goes live.
Third-party services
The map on the contact page is served by Google Maps, and Google's own privacy policy applies to what it collects. Our Facebook and Instagram links work the same way.
How long we keep information
We keep contact-form messages for as long as they are useful to the care of your pet and to our records, and then we delete them. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider and then rotated out.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call the hospital and ask for the practice manager. Most browsers also let you block or clear cookies from their settings.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page. Material changes will be noted at the top of it.
